Nothing is more thrilling for paleontologists than uncovering an antique Pangaea globe or discovering a new species of flavored Doritos. Explore the often-delicious findings of history with today's Groupon: a one-year membership to Morrill Hall, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's museum of natural history. Choose one of the following Groupons:
- For $22, you get a one-year family membership good for two adults and their children or grandchildren under 18 (a $45 value).
- For $15, you get a one-year individual membership (a $30 value).
Morrill Hall's exhibits showcase biodiversity, Nebraska's wildlife, paleontology, and scientific studies. With your membership, you'll receive unlimited admission to the hallowed history hall, as well as access to Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park in Royal and the Trailside Museum of Natural History in Crawford. You'll also receive discounted admission to the Mueller Planetarium, 10% off gift shop purchases and themed birthday parties, and invitations to exhibit openings. A membership means many kinds of fun over the course of a year, because Morrill Hall changes its exhibits as often as William Howard Taft changed his hairpiece. Compare differences between whale skulls at the museum's Explore Evolution educational area, or inspect the Miss Mie doll, a Japanese friendship doll sent to children in the U.S. in 1927 (on display through October 31, 2010). The child-friendly Dr. Paul and Betty Marx Science Discovery Center allows seven-year-old science whizzes to sit on a slice from a hackberry tree, inspect fossils, and study a dam built by devious beavers.
