Fully licensed, bonded and insured, with more than eight years of experience in the pet-services industry. Trained in pet CPR and First Aid. Customers are assured to have the same walker every day. Flexible communication with clients (text, email, written note) so they are always “in the loop.”
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After managing a large pet-services company for the past several years, overseeing an operation that conducted more than 500 walks per week, I realized it was time for me to start my own business, one focused more on building an exceptional customer experience than the bottom line.
What do you love most about your job?
That’s easy: the animals! The bond that is forged between a dog and their walker is a special one. Arriving at a client’s home to a happy, wagging dog—knowing that you are the highlight of that dog’s day—really makes this such a rewarding profession. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
I have been told that I am perfectly suited for this profession because I am not just knowledgeable of the animals, but also of the business side of the industry. First and foremost I am an animal lover, but I am also extremely professional and well-organized.
