Q:

Are you committed to every other week, or could it be once a month?

Kathy M.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

Kathy- We don't have a once a month option. It is a bi-weekly commitment.

Q:

Is my share automatically charged to me every other week? What if I am not able to pick it up one week? what items from your store can I have included to be picked up with my share at my chosen pick up site?

elaine l.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

Elaine- it's automatic. It's co-op style so you are committing to pick-up every other week at the location of your choice. If you aren't able to pick-up and you know ahead of time, you can put your share on temporary hold for that pick-up. You can also have a friend pick-up for you. If you miss your share, it is donated to a local charity. Currently, we offer farm fresh eggs and local honey to be added to the share.

Q:

I could not find a phone number to my local W. 7th ave location. May I have a rough estimate for these add-ons: farm fresh eggs, half-gallon of milk?

Sergio C.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Sergio- the farm fresh eggs are $5.00 a doz and can be added to your share each time or ordered as a one-time order through our web store. We don't currently offer milk as an add on.

Q:

Can you tell me roughly what kinds of veggies & fruits I'd get each month? ANd the amount of each? Maybe show me what was given the last 2-3 months? Thanks

Marie C.  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

Marie, Thanks for your question! Firstly, the fruits and vegetables you would receive will always be seasonal. Secondly, they will be a mixture of greens, root vegetables, fruit, etc. The amount/weight of each item varies, but for the most part, the half share is roughly 15 lbs and the full share roughly 30 lbs. Below are the lists of what was in the share the last two pickups. If you have further questions, please let us know! Q:

I think I just answered my own question. Since you have to pre-pay, you would probably want to use the same location. Since I live in Arlington my options are limited during the day to Fridays. If I use Ft. Worth, I could go on Friday or Saturday. Right?

JoAnne F.  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

JoAnne- I responded to your other question, but just to further clarify. You can switch between Arlington and Fort Worth and also between the two times at Fort Worth as long as you do it by the change request deadline.

Q:

My question is can you use different locations? Say Friday one week. Then two weeks later use Fort Worth? Are you paying a bin fee plus the share fee every two weeks?

JoAnne F.  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

JoAnne, You do have the freedom to switch between locations that are on the same schedule. So because Arlington, Fort Worth Friday, and Fort Worth Saturday are all on the same weekend, you can switch between them as long as you do it before the Wednesday at 12pm deadline. If you need to switch to an opposite weekend, you will need to contact us. Every two weeks you are only paying for your share. The bin fee is a one-time fee.

Q:

Just to be clear, with the Groupon I only get the first share, right? After that I have to pay bi-weekly for shares?

Casi R.  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

Casi- Thanks for your question. That is correct- this Groupon covers your first share, and then you pay for future shares on a bi-weekly basis. Can I help you with anything else?
