Q:

Once i purchase this deal, is it mandatory that i make a purchase every other week or can i skip some weeks? also how far in advance do i need to prepay for my items?

nadeen m.  asked on  Jul 9, 2013

A:

You are automatically scheduled for every other week, and if you need to skip, you can use the temporary hold feature. This simply has to be done by Wednesday at 12pm before the pickup you wish to skip. You pre-pay 2 weeks in advance for the next share, so on your first pickup date, you are charged to pre-pay for your second share, and so on. If you ever need to cancel, on your final pickup date, you will not be charged.

Q:

I want to try this, but am I obligated to buy twice a month for an entire year? Or can I let you know at each pick up if I will be wanting the next pick up? Do I have up til 180 days after I buy the groupon before I sign up and start getting the produce? (I have a raised garden right now and have all I can eat; however, this would be great if I could buy the groupon now and then sign up and start getting the produce in November. Thanks! Bettie

Bettie P.  asked on  Jul 9, 2013

A:

Bettie, It is a commitment to pickup every two weeks, but if you find you need to cancel it, you can do that at anytime, and we will schedule the next pickup as your last one. We also have a temporary hold feature that you could use if you had seasons that you didn't need to receive produce, or if you were out of town. I would recommend that you buy it and redeem it closer to when you need vegetables/fruits so that your membership year starts then. The groupon will include the exact expiration date.

Q:

I would pick up in Fort Worth and would not be able to browse the store. May I see a sample order form to see if the items I need will be offered? Thanks

Joanne P.  asked on  Jul 10, 2013

A:

Joanne, the shares are all the same, so there is no order form to choose specific fruits/vegetables. We do offer farm fresh eggs as an add-on at the farm stands, and the shares are composed of seasonal fruits and vegetables, a variety of items, and as much local produce as possible. Hope this helps clarify.
