Q:

Can Four introductory flight lessons Groupon coupon be used towards 20HR sport pilot training?

Anil L.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Absolutely. The 1, 2 or 4 flights will all be fully logable towards a Sport or Private pilot's license. With any of the packages, you'll also receive a starter log book to keep track of all your flights. A Certified Flight Instructor will sign each flight record.

Q:

What kind of planes do you use for trainning? Can I bring a friend along for the flight?

David  asked on  Feb 5, 2013

A:

This package includes flight in a 2 seat SportCruiser light sport aircraft. We can upgrade to a 4 seat aircraft for an additional $45 charge. Be sure to let us know when scheduling so that you're booked on the correct plane.

Q:

How strict is the age limit? My 14 yo grandson is interested. Can some kind of age waiver be applied?

Edward O.  asked on  Feb 4, 2013

A:

The key issue for age is overall maturity and enough height to see above the instrument panel. Call us and we can help you determine if it would be a good fit for your grandson.

Q:

Can this be used by a certified pilot? I am a CFI (I've kept up for last 12 years), however, I've been out of the cockpit for a decade due to new family, etc. I am hoping to obviously get my flight portion of my BFR completed, as well as just get more comfortable to get back in the cockpit.

Jeffrey H.  asked on  Feb 4, 2013

A:

You'll need at least the 2 flight, and possibly 4 flight, package to work towards your BFR. There will also be some additional ground time that is not included in this package, but it can cover your flight portion if you're currently at or near PTS standards.
