$75 for a Basic-Pistol or Basic-Rifle Introductory Course ($175 Value)
During the 5- to 6.5-hour Basic-Pistol or Basic-Rifle Introductory Course, students begin with 3–4 hours of classroom instruction that covers safe handling, ammo calibers, maintenance, and the fundamentals of shooting. Held on a separate day, the second half of each pistol or rifle course moves to an outdoor range, where participants get 2–2.5 hours of hands-on experience in applying what they learned in the classroom. Each course typically has 10–20 students, along with one NRA-affiliated instructor for every 10 students. Eye and ear protection is included.
Buyers should contact U.S. Training Group directly about the course schedule. Participants must purchase a box of ammunition ($28) and pay range fees ($14–$16) upon convening for class.
