Q:

If you do the Zip, do you have to include the Tower Jump?

Edward B.  asked on  Aug 18, 2013

A:

Edward - Hi, with the Silver Pass, you get one use each on the Extreme Zip, Alpine Slide and if you choose the Drop Tower. Either way, you will definitely get a full zip experience. The Drop Tower is a combo activity where you take a short zip to the 60ft platform followed by a safe "free fall" drop to mats on the ground. Once you zip to the platform you are committed to the "drop". Hope this helps!

Q:

Can we buy the groupon today and use it today?

Erin T.  asked on  Aug 18, 2013

A:

Erin - Yes indeed! The Park venue is open 9 am to 6 pm daily thru Labor Day, and Weekends Only thru October 27, 2013. Activities operate 10 am to 6 pm in that same timeframe. Definitely give yourself some time to enjoy the activities...ie. arriving at 5 pm means you'd only have an hour to play. See you soon!

Q:

We are interested in purchasing the Silver Passes. However, our children do not meet the weight requirements for the Extreme Zipline. Would the resort be willing to exchange the zipline rides for the Coaster?

keeley b.  asked on  Aug 15, 2013

A:

I'm sorry but you could not exchange the services.

Sammy T.  from  Groupon  replied on  Aug 15, 2013

A:

Keeley B - My apologies for the delayed response. For your kids, we would offer the Freestyle Zip in lieu of the Extreme Zip, the weight requirement for the Freestyle Zip is 50 lbs minimum. The Silver Pass includes the Alpine Slide so the kids would get to do both!

Q:

ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR THE PURCHASE OF TICKETS FOR THE SUMMER BOBSLED RIDE?

William M.  asked on  Aug 18, 2013

A:

William - Yes, 20% off for all UT residents now through September 29 and 20% off with the purchase of any UOP day pass - that makes the ride $60 (regularly $75).

Q:

WE TALKED TO OUR ADULT GRANDSON ABOUT A GIFT TO THE OLYMPICS PARK AFTER HAVING RECEIVED AN E-MAIL RE: THE PURCHASE OF THE GROUPON SILVER OR ADVENTURE ACTIVITY DAY PASS. HE WAS NOT INTERESTED IN THE ACTIVITIES DESCRIBED BUT WONDERED IF HE HAD THE PASS IF THE DIFFERENCE COULD BE PAID AND THE VALUE AMOUNT BE APPLIED FOR THE SUMER COMET BOBSLED RIDE? THANKS

William M.  asked on  Aug 18, 2013

A:

William - thanks for the question. Unfortunately, the bobsled ride is a completely separate product and the Groupon value cannot be applied. From now until the end of the Bobsled season, all UT residents will receive 20% off Bobsled rides making the ride $60 (regularly priced at $75). And, with any day pass purchase (ie. Gold, Silver, Bronze, Adventure, etc.), guests also qualify for 20% off Bobsled Rides. Hope this helps and thanks for supporting Utah Olympic Park.

Q:

Does the Tower Drop in the Adventure Pass include a zip-line to get to the Tower?

Christie Clark R.  asked on  Aug 14, 2013

A:

Christie - there is a Zip from the start of the Drop Tower to the 60 ft high wood platform where you take a controlled "free fall" drop to a soft-landing on the ground. It's a moderate Zip that is quite scenic and not overly steep. For more info: http://utaholympiclegacy.com/activities/adventure-courses-drop-tower

Q:

Can you please explain what rides or activities you get with the Adventure Passess. Mary

Marcia B.  asked on  Aug 14, 2013

A:

The Adventure Pass includes the new adventure courses and Drop Tower activity. There are three adventure courses starting from a beginner level up to an advanced course located 55 ft above the ground. The Drop Tower is an unique activity that starts with a zip ride to a wood platform 60 ft off the ground, and a controlled "free fall" drop to a soft-landing on the ground.
