What You'll Get
A night at the symphony or a visit to the opera provides not only a lasting memory of professionally refined musical prowess, but also keeps patrons from reliving the boring routine of watching the TV boil. Get out of the house and experience some aurally delivered entertainment with today's Groupon: for $20, you get two tickets to an April or May Utah Symphony or Utah Opera performance, up to a $106 value. Seating for the two tickets is on best-available basis for a Utah Symphony performance at Abravanel Hall or a Utah Opera performance at Capitol Theatre between April 23, 2010, and May 29, 2010. The best-available seats for two tickets start with the venues' orchestra level ($106 total value or lower), the highest value being the Opera's Suor Angelica Gianni Schicchi on select nights. Some performances, such as the Symphony's Saint-Saens Piano Concerto on Friday, May 7, at 10 a.m., provide general-admission ($28 total value or higher) seats only. This Groupon is not valid for The Temptations concerts.
Upcoming events between April 23, 2010, and May 29, 2010, are fair game (except for The Temptations) for a night at the opera or an evening or morning of symphonics. Surprise a date or impress your favorite ventriloquist dummy with a cultural experience for the ears.
