Q:

Do you do pregnancy massage?

Lisa Q.  asked on  Nov 6, 2012

A:

Hi Lisa! Yes I do pregnancy massage. The 90 minute would be perfect for you, they don't actually recommend wraps for women who are pregnant. Although you could save that until you've given birth and coud have a little getaway for later.

Q:

I would like to buy her a massage for a loved one with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. After reading your website I saw that the hot stone massage is good for fibromyalgia pain and thought it would be good for her JRA. She is 21 years old. Is there any chance I could purchase this massage under the promotional, or pay a difference? Thanks

Barbara A.  asked on  Nov 5, 2012

A:

Actually the seaweed wrap and massage would be the best to start for your loved one. Until I meet her, talk to her and assess her range of motion and where she is at with her JRA, I do not feel comfortable performing hot stone massage.

Q:

What are the benefits of seaweed vs. clay?

Jenni M.  asked on  Nov 4, 2012

A:

They are both good. The clay helps with skin impurities, seaweed has wonderful minerals that you are able to soak in through your skin.

Tierza C.  from  Merchant  replied on  Nov 4, 2012

A:

I realized that I only addressed the differences between seaweed and clay, I did not include the benefits that both of them provide. They both provide softening of your skin and short-term improved appearance of your skin. Also did not mention that seaweed is rich in vitamins and oxygen as well. People with thyroid issues should avoid the seaweed wrap as it contains large doses of iodine. Pregnant women should also avoid these two treatments while pregnant.

Q:

Seaweed wrap/clay--what are you wrapping??

Andrea H.  asked on  Nov 5, 2012

A:

Either the Seaweed paste and Clay paste are smoothed on your skin, instead of a face mask think body mask. Your body is then wrapped in sheets, and a blanket. I usually also heat the table, but you may opt out of that if you choose to.

Q:

Does the Bain de Pied soak and scrub come before the massage and seaweed wrap?

Teresa G.  asked on  Nov 4, 2012

A:

Yes the Bain de Pied is while you are filling out the paper work, then wrap, then massage. The scrub is on your feet as part of the Bain de Pied.
