Q:

Val, Will I have access to the materials after viewing the online course? I'll have a hard time remembering all the little things you will likely share and those little things often make the difference. I would need the ability to go back and review the things you've taught because I know I won't get it all the first time... Thanks, Fred

Hi Fred, you will be provided with the full online photography workbook. I would suggest printing it out because there are side columns for note taking. We have just extended the course! You now will have one full year of unlimited access to all eight modules. Thanks for your question...Val "Our passion is sharing the gift of photography with others"

Q:

Does it help you to choose a good camera? Thanks

Rebeca D.  asked on  Jun 3, 2013

A:

Hi Rebeca, Our online photography course has been designed to teach photography regardless of what type of digital camera you use, however, current digital SLR cameras offer higher quality images than older models. Today, any entry level camera (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus...) offers great quality. So, if you are looking to purchase a new camera, I would just find a DSLR with great reviews and that fits your budget. You can purchase your digital camera at Best Buy, B&H Photo...or your local camera store. Thanks for the great question...Val

Q:

Does it matter what type of camera we have? We recently bought a Nikon Coolpix P520. It's not quite an SLR, but one step down. It has video, and auto and manual settings. Would we still get full value of course with this type of camera? Thanks, Brian

brian s.  asked on  Jun 1, 2013

A:

Hi Brian and thanks for your question. This course teaches photography. Not only does it give you the complete knowledge of photography, the course teaches how to shoot in every mode of a digital slr. You will have the knowledge and with this knowledge you might find yourself at times restricted by your equipment. For example, with your Nikon Coolpix P520 you will be able to do just about everything that a DSLR can do, however, you will find that your Aperture can only get as small as f8. So, to answer your question, yes, you will benefit greatly from this course and if you like your camera now, you learn to love it even more after the course. Keep in touch...Val
