Not Reliable! Untrustworthy!
I knew that there might be a charge for the extra .3 quart of oil that my engine requires. I was OK with the extra $5 charge. I am NOT OK with the rest of my experience.
They apparently used the wrong sized tool to drain the oil and damaged the Plug. That was an extra $16. They asked who did the last change. They had the CarFax access to see that it was a professional. They tried to dodge responsibility for their error. The threads on the plug were not stripped as they claimed. The only damage was from the Vice-Grip tool they used.
The next change sticker was for 3,000 miles despite Full Synthetic oil installed. They said the filter change recommendation is 3,000 miles. This doesn't make sense when the oil has a much higher change interval.
I had to return because panels that were removed were not fastened when I left.
I will not return to Valvoline Instant Oil Change.
