Though its name suggests a gathering place for devotees of the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver FanClub draws most of its inspiration from the French Quarter in New Orleans. Reclaimed French-style colonial doors lead the way into the 6,500-square foot, two-level facility, lit by antique chandeliers imported from Louisiana. The inspiration from the American south continues in the kitchen, where chefs pile apple slaw onto beef brisket slow-smoked for 12 hours or blend culinary influences by topping traditional poutine with pulled pork. Liquor-infused desserts such as mini donuts with chocolate-Kahlua dipping sauce bring meals to a dulcet close.
More libations await at Vancouver FanClub’s three bars, where bartenders craft custom cocktails, pour hand-selected craft beers, decant wine from taps, and dole out shots of their in-house smoked Bulleit Bourbon. Drinks in hand, guests can tap their toes to Vancouver FanClub’s nightly live music, which runs the sonic gamut from blues and soul to indie and electronic.
