Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Is there a limit to where you can take the jetski if you rent it? Does the tour allow you to go further out?

Nick B.  asked on  May 13, 2013

A:

Hey Nick B, There are 2 areas that you are not aloud to take the jetski, 1 being within 300 m of any shore line. This is regulation as it is swimming zone and it gets shallow towards the shores. The other being into the Vancouver harbor...so you cannot go underneath the lion's gate bridge. Other then that the waters are yours to explore!!! English Bay, Horseshoe Bay, Howe Sound and the Fraser River....the tour will take you to some of these places and if you choose to do a rental you are free to explore these places as well!!! Hope this helps!

Q:

How much time is a tank of gas good for if in continuous operation? Is the cost of gas included or is that extra? (i.e. in the past we had various boat rentals and would have to either re-fill at the pump or pay for the gas)

Amir D.  asked on  May 16, 2013

A:

1 tank of Fuel is included in all of our rentals and tours. No extra cost. 1 tank of fuel will last about 3-4 hours with continuous operation ( full throttle!!) Hope this helps

Q:

If I purchase 1 for myself and 2nd as a gift for my wife, can you both use it for the same day and time and take our 2 kids as passengers? How many are there in a group?

Mark D.  asked on  May 17, 2013

A:

Hi Mark, Yes for sure you can both go out at the same time. We allow up to 6 tandems out together per tour or rental. So you and your wife would be fine to go together with your kids. Children have to be at least 6 years of age to be a passenger.

Q:

How much is the insurance or deposit? I rent one before. They charge deposit from my credit card whe I rent it. After returning, they refund the money back to credit card again. Do you do that too? If so, how much do you take from credit card? Thank you.

Emily K.  asked on  May 16, 2013

A:

Hey Emily, The damage deposit is 500 on the credit card. which we would refund to you. If you do the tour and choose to purchase the insurance, it's 25$ which would cover up to 500$ in damage.

Q:

When you refer to 'tour' does this mean that you are going out with one of your staffers or a group? Or are you able to go out on your own?

Bobi F.  asked on  May 15, 2013

A:

Hey Bobi, a tour would involve you having your own machine and the tour guide having his own machine and he would take a group of people out. If you would rather go out on your own and explore then you should purchase the rental option which allows you to do out and do your own thing

Q:

is the tax included in the "$133 for a two-hour Wild tour on a tandem jet ski for two" or does it only refer to "a $266.56 value, including tax" is the $266.56 based on two people? can you ride as a single rider?

Paul  asked on  May 14, 2013

A:

Hi Paul, Yes the Groupon does include tax. You can also ride as a single person if you would like as the Groupon is a great deal for 1 rider too! We won't force you to bring a friend on the back. In fact we have many people that bought the Groupon last year for single riders.
