A Chat with Veda Yoga Center
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Veda Yoga is a non-profit organization providing high quality education and guidance in the scientific principles of yoga. Our schedule consists primarily of vinyasa flow classes, but we also offer the weekly acroyoga, inversion workshops, kirtan, and dharma talk.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Most importantly we emphasize that everyone should listen to and honor their own body. Weather one is down and out on luck or having the best day of their life, we hold space for it all. This is an intuitive practice and our instructors will serve as your guides, but you are your own best teacher!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Kumi Yogini, a former manager and teacher trainer is no stranger to running and operating the business of yoga. After years of teaching, she thought it was time to create a space where people could develop their practice in a spiritual way.
What do you love most about your job?
Every day I am amazed at how much I learn from students and get to share with others. Teaching and affecting the lives of others has had a profound impact on my own spiritual growth. I want nothing more than to pass onto others that which has brought love and kindness into my own life.
