Q:

if i buy one location, do we need to drive, while playing game?

Judith S.  asked on  Jan 24, 2012

A:

Hi Judith, You're in luck. There's no driving during any of our games. They're all on foot, so bring a comfy pair of shoes. Hope this helps. Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

Can it be used for other cities too?

Pamela R.  asked on  Jan 23, 2012

A:

Hi Pamela, Thanks for contacting us. This Groupon deal is only good for our Las Vegas games. However, if you want to contact us separately we can tell you if there are any other deals for games in other cities. This Groupon is good for up to a year, though, so if you purchase the Groupon you have lots of time to use it. Hope this helps. Cheers! - Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

We have 3 people in our group and want to do 1 zone (if I read correctly, it will take us about 2 - 3 hours to complete the one zone). How would that work with the groupon?

Barbara S.  asked on  Jan 23, 2012

A:

Hi Barbara, Our ticketing is on the honor system. While we'd like you to buy at least three tickets to 1 zone, if you buy two tickets and bring a third person, we have no way of verifying. We just ask everyone to be honest about the number of people in their group. Technically, that would mean you should buy 4 tickets, and you'd get less of a discount, but it's really up to you. Hope this helps! Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

If there are 4 people wanting to play as 2 teams, do we buy 2 tickets for one zone? Or does each person need to have their own 'ticket'? And what about really large groups of say 16 that want to play as teams?

Laura S.  asked on  Jan 23, 2012

A:

Hi Laura, Sorry for the delay in responding. If there are four of you, you should buy four tickets to one zone or two sets of two tickets to one zone. We charge per person, just like a walking tour. For larger groups, you can do the same or contact us separately about our special large group options. Hope this helps. Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

Can I use this deal for another city offered Stray Boots? We'd like to purchase for San Diego

mike p.  asked on  Jan 22, 2012

A:

Hi Mike, Thanks for the question. Sorry to say, but you can't use this Groupon for Stray Boots games in other cities. However, if you want to contact us separately we can tell you about any other promotions we have in other cities. So you know, the Vegas deal allows you to use your voucher for up to a year, and once you redeem your ticket, it's good for another year, so you essentially have two years to use any voucher you get for a Vegas game through Groupon. Hope this helps. Cheers - Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

We want to do two zones maybe different days (2 of us). If we were to get the four tickets to one of four zones, would that work?

David D.  asked on  Jan 22, 2012

A:

Hi David, Thanks for your question. If you buy four tickets to one zone, you won't be able to split that into two tickets to two zones. Instead, you'll need to buy two groupons each good for two tickets to one zone. Sorry for any confusion. I hope this helps! -Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

If I purchase all 4 zones do they need to all be completed on the same day?

Danni A.  asked on  Jan 22, 2012

A:

Hi Danni, Thanks for your question. You actually have a year from the time you first activate your phone to complete all the games, so there's no rush at all! Hope this helps. - Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

I purchased a 4 person groupon and would like to compete as 2 teams of 2. Can we get 2 activation codes?

Cindy V.  asked on  Jan 22, 2012

A:

Hi Cindy, Once you redeem your groupon on our website (http://www.strayboots.com/redeem), please just forward the email to customerservice@strayboots.com, and ask us to split you into two teams. We'll send you a second code within a few minutes of receiving your email. Thanks! - Avi, Stray Boots

Q:

We want to compete as teams. Is the order in which we visit each location always the same, or is it random? Just don't want all 4 teams following each other to the same spot over and over again.

Jimmy W.  asked on  Jan 22, 2012

A:

Hi Jimmy, In general, we can set people up with 2 teams that take different paths through the same challenges so that you get the same experience without completely following each other. And you'll start and end relatively close to each other. With a larger group, it's usually better to have slightly bigger teams as opposed to splitting up into more teams. Events with more than 2 teams usually require more setup (not valid from Groupon purchases) but just shoot us an email and we can work something out for you: vegas@strayboots.com -Scott, Stray Boots
