Q:

I have numerous heavy rope veins in both my legs. I had them removed 20 years ago but now more varicose veins are back. Can I have this surgery procedure done again? Which treatment woudl be used. I am like one of your worst pictures

cynthia m.  asked on  Oct 6, 2011

A:

Cynthia, thanks for your question. We often see patients that have had previous treatment, elsewhere. There are minimally invasive procedures that are more specific for venous insuffiency and varicose veins. Please call our office to set up a Free Screening appointment so that you can be evaluated by one of our board certified vascular surgeons. Or call our office for more information. We look forward to hearing from you!

Q:

On your website looking at the before and after pictures of spider veins (reading left to right, top to bottom), what would the cost be for the top left treatment and the bottom left treatment? I have two (what I would call minor) spots that I would like treated. Would the deal cover both or only one?

Pam L.  asked on  Oct 6, 2011

A:

Thanks for your inquiry Pam. All of our patients are individually evaluated by one of our board certified vascular surgeons. They give you a treatment estimate at that time. Unfortunately, we are unable to give you an estimate based off the picture from our website. Please call our office directly at 513-984-0330 and we can answer your concerns or questions. We look forward to hearing from you!

Q:

I once had a blood clot in my leg and continue to take blood thinner, warafin. Would that disqualify me from your treatment? I'd also have to ask my doctor, but wanted to start by asking you.

Q:

I previously asked a question about the number of treatments needed. After researching a bit, I see that often more than one treatment is required for optimal results. Can you tell me the price of additional treatments? Thanks, Karen

karen l.  asked on  Oct 6, 2011

A:

Karen---additional sclerotherapy treatments are 18 cc's of solution priced at $500 per treatment. We can also do smaller areas, per syringe. A 3 cc syringe of solution is $100/syringe. Hope this helps to answer!

Q:

I have multiple spider veins primarily on the left leg. They are purple, tiny and do not bulge. Would one treatment get rid of them all? Thanks, Karen

karen l.  asked on  Oct 6, 2011

A:

Thanks for your inquiry Karen. Every patient is individually evaluated by one of our board certified vascular surgeons. They will do an examination and give you an estimated treatment plan. It is then up to you to determine what you would like to schedule for. Some patients only have one treatment ( 18 ccs) done, and others have more. Please feel free to call our office for more specific information. We look forward to hearing from you!

Q:

When does this offer expire? I am pregnant right now, and so I can't use it for a while, but it would surely be useful next year!

Jennifer S.  asked on  Oct 6, 2011

A:

Thanks for your inquiry Jennifer. Our physicians recommend waiting a couple months post pardum to have sclerotherapy done. If you would like to call our office directly, we are happy answer more specific questions for you. 513-984-0330.
