About Verona Ristorante
When the New York Times visited Verona Ristorante back in 2012, they were astonished by a common nicety: the free bread basket. The crew of Verona finds comfort in tradition. Veteran servers present Berkshire pork chops and fried calamari with nary a hesitation, and patrons dig in happily around tables dressed in classic white linens. (Indeed, the Times were "dazzled" by the latter, and found the former to be "the best version of this dish [they'd] ever sampled.") Homemade ravioli stuffed with portobello are a lovely option for vegetarians, though six versions of veal will satisfy diners who also love all ingredients that start with "V." Speaking of Vs: nearly 60 varietals of wine include many Italian selections, with a few from Australia and California thrown in for good measure.
