The estate nestles among Suisun Valley’s bucolic hills, and intimate groups of eight guests or fewer enter the tasting room to awaken palates with samples of two of the winery’s whites. Following the tasting, winery staff leads guests through the barrel room, granting full access to the area's private room and antigravity fermentation suite. Guides then unite cheery glasses with pours of seven barrel-raised red wines, regaling ears with information on the winemaking process and a history of the winery and surrounding valley.

Frank and Liz Vezér, owners of Vezér Family Vineyard, originally began growing the fruit to help fill the needs of wine producers including Ravenswood and Sin Zin. More than a decade ago, they also began producing their own wines. “One could call it beginner’s luck,” says Touring and Tasting Magazine, “but their award-winning streak has yet to be broken. Every single wine Vezér has produced has won a top award or superior rating.
