Great way to see the highlights of Fairbanks . “Joshua” was an excellent tour guide. Gave us a real insight into life in Fairbanks, as well as the right mix of time to discover on our own (UAF Museum) and providing the highlights ( Cultural Center). Although I wasn’t overly excited about visiting the pipeline, it turned out to be extremely interesting. A great guide, who loved Alaska…a perfect day. Only critique, face masks not required in van.

Loved our tour guide, Muriel! She is a true local. She grew up in Fairbanks, AK, and even shared with us her first hand account of the 1967 Chena River Flood as a child. She shared other great stories, too, as we drove from one spot to another. She was very knowledgeable. Very personable. Offered a step stool in and out of the van. Loved seeing and learning about the Alaskan Alyeska Pipeline. Muriel was good about taking pics for us with our cameras. Enjoyed the museum. She let us know what to expect. Our favorite stop was the Santa Claus House. And upon Muriel’s advice, we did the feed and pet reindeer adventure. It ended up being the HIGHLIGHT of our entire 2-week land tour of Alaska!!! Thanks Muriel :-)
