Dinners are 4 courses paired with (unlimited) wine. Please allot 2 1/2 hours for the dinner.
Menus are secret until the end of the meal so naturally guests have fun guessing which food and wine is on the plate and in the glass.
Any dietary restrictions can be accommodated. Please let us know at the moment you purchase your ticket.
Pricing is all-inclusive (Food, wine, and gratuity).
On arrival, we give you and orientation outside and answer questions before leading you into the dining room with your blindfold on.
Itinerary
Without sight, diners’ other senses are heightened. Smells, textures and sounds all become more intense. Arrive at our restaurant's door, don a blindfold & let us take you on an unforgettable ride.
We have been hosting Dinners in the Dark for nearly 15 years and remain the only place in New York City to host such events. Here's an idea of what to expect: You will arrive outside Abigail's Kitchen. Where we will have the curtains up. Chef Owner Abigail Hitchcock will do a brief orientation to give you instructions on how to communicate if you need assistance, and we will also confirm any dietary restrictions. Dietary restrictions are sent prior to the event. We'll led you in blindfolded and help you get seated. Then we'll proceed to serve a Farm-to-Table 4-course meal paired with (unlimited) wine. We'll have some fun with the other senses but mostly leave you to it. We'll talk about the menu at the end and then take off the blindfolds together. It's really fun and totally unique! People connect on a whole new level.
