This was not the dining tour, just a sightseeing flight with a landing at a deserted beach. Unique view of the area- just wish they could accommodate 6 passengers instead of just 5! (Dad had to stay home.) Our daughter and two young grandkids had never experienced a seaplane flight and our pilot flew right over the top of our cabin, a thrill for the kiddos. It was quite pricey, but a treat for the grands. Booster seats for the littles would have been great so they could see out the windows, but they still had fun.

Picturesque seaplane tour to Bosebuck Mountain Camps, Grant's Kennebago Camps or Tim Pond Camps for a delicious dinner. Along your route of flight, your pilot will point out points of interest and wildlife. Keep your eyes out for Moose! Sit back and relax while you watch the wilderness pass beneath our wings!

We had a stunning sunset and Ryan was kind, relaxed, cool as a cucumber. He is clearly an expert pilot, so don’t let his youthful face fool you! The views were spectacular, and he pointed out key spots, took our photos in multiple locations, and gave us the lay of the land at the second location. The restaurant staff were charming and the views of the lake and multiple hummingbirds were better than we could’ve imagined. They even had Louis Armstrong playing while we dined! Four thumbs up, especially to Ryan, our rock star pilot!

Our flight started at the local airport, the Steven A. Bean Municipal. We were greeted by our pilot Kyle, he went over important safety issues, discussed the flight pattern, and then we were ready to board and take-off. Our flight took us over Rangeley, to Bald Mountain, down Mooselookmeguntic, and finally over Richardson Lake. We circled the Lakewood Camp in Middle Dam, our destination, and had a nice soft landing on the lake. As we approached the camp, we were greeted by the staff, offered a quick tour of the camp, and then seated and served a great meal before taking off to head home. Our pilot was professional and friendly and provided interesting local facts as we flew back and forth. Our parents visited the Lakewood Camps as young children and hadn't been back since. Needless to say, a great thrill for them both to visit. Our take-off and landing were much smoother than a big commercial airline and we highly recommend others to treat themselves to this wonderful experience. Thank you to Keith, Kyle, and the great staff at Lakewood Camps for this incredible adventure.

This was an amazing experience! We were able to sight see on the way to dinner, we were able to see Moose when we were in the air. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, the pilots were great, we had the plane to ourselves and the lodge for dinner as well. The food at the lodge was out of this world! Definitely recommend and would absolutely do this again!
