This was the most incredible experience! At first it was a bit scary but we saw the most incredible sights and the crew had our safety top of mind! Will do this again!

First thing, make sure you know you’re booking doors off. I have pregnancy brain and didn’t realize what I was booking (my mistake) and my husband is terrified of heights and ended up backing out of the experience while boarding. I tried to cancel but called at 1:54 pm the day before my 1:45pm flight and they had no flexibility. As he backed out the woman said “I can’t refund you” as helicopter was taking off. This was my third time doing a helicopter tour but first without doors. While the views were absolutely breathtaking and the pictures were amazing too, I do much prefer doors on, feel I had a better experience. I was getting blown around alone in the back and really didn’t feel there was connection to what was happening in the flight and couldn’t hear the pilot all that well or the music playing. Definitely book a helicopter experience, but I suggest to go with a different company as I’ve had phenomenal experiences on both Maui and Hawaii with Blue Hawaiian where the pilots were more interactive and if felt safer. Even if they had provided some flexibility (half off, when I called 23.95 hours in advance let me cancel but charged me even $50 - something would have been better than what I experienced). The Waimea canyon and Na’pali coast are unmatched in beauty and seeing it via helicopter is well worth it- but do yourself a favor when their are plenty of options out there and go with a different company than The Airborne tram

Pretty smooth process. Great team that helps you and briefs on safety. and the tour is breathtaking. They don’t land but do take u on a ride through the valleys, near waterfalls and the volcano. Doors off is definitely a plus as the views are unobstructed.

Out of this world, once in a lifetime experience. Kaua’i spectacular scenery, & the chance to see it up close & personal - windows off.
Our pilot Amy was professional, solidly competent & made the whole flight very reassuring - for folks with little or no experience with this kind of thing.

Wonderful experience! Adam Chase is a great pilot and tour guide. This is the only way to really see the island in its true form. Would absolutely recommend scheduling a tour with Airborne Aviation when visiting Kauai!
