Embark on one of our most popular evening adventures to Chena Hot Springs Resort, a renowned Alaskan getaway just 60 miles from Fairbanks. Keep an eye out for moose, foxes, or beavers as you travel through the scenic interior. Your night begins with a guided tour of the Aurora Ice Museum, home to stunning ice sculptures and the famous ice bar, where you can optionally enjoy an Appletini in a hand-carved ice glass (21+). Then relax with dinner or a drink in the cozy resort restaurant, featuring fresh, locally sourced produce (meal not included). Afterward, soak in the outdoor mineral hot springs—a rejuvenating experience under the stars—or explore the snowy grounds while waiting for a chance to witness the magical Aurora Borealis. Your guide will point out the best spots for viewing and provide tips to make the most of the night. Return to Fairbanks just after midnight, with a final chance to glimpse the aurora along the way.

The hot springs were great! Too cloudy to see lights, but the tour guide was sweet and knowledgeable.

Savvy is the best guide I've ever had, and I've been on a lot of tours. She gave us options of how we could spend the evening. She is very knowledgeable about Alaska too. First we went to the ice museum which was a nice and great place for photos. Great place to be served an apple Martini in ice which you can smash at the entrance while making a wish. Then with Savvy's recommendations, we went to dinner and the salmon there was fantastic. After dinner we all headed to the hot springs. I was there for about an hour to hour and a half, which I think is reasonable time to spend there before getting cooked. I liked that they are real hot springs and not a glorified hot tub. After that Savvy did her best to help us seek out some Aurora lights based off weather predictions. 10/10 recommend and if Savvy is your guide then you're super lucky!!
