I have always wanted to visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center when I lived in Soldotna. Since returning to AK for a visit, I thought this would be a good opportunity to visit the AWCC. I was accompanied by a friend. Our tour guide Chris was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. He allowed us opportunities to tour areas of the center on our own giving us ample time to do so and being prompt. He always makes a headcount before leaving. We also went to a Portage valley nature tour. This tour was definitely worth seeing!!
