We were extremely disappointed in this activity. It was both very poorly planned out and poorly executed. 1. They emphasized that the “adventures” could be completed in any order, but that meant we spent the first 30 minutes of our two hours just trying to find places on the map and figure out where to go, as the various locations were quite far apart. 2. When we found our first couple of locations, they were all closed. 3. Some tasks were super generic, like “take a picture of the best skateboard trick you see”. There were no skateboards or skate parks in sight. 4. The tasks that were specific to our city were clearly pulled off of google and didn’t make sense in the real world. 5. One page of challenges was clearly created for a private party, with tasks like “Find a poster of the sports team Mike and Kim saw on their first date.” 6. One task tried to send us to an ice cream shop on the other side of the country. 7. Some tasks seemed to just ask us to google for information. There was one about a famous person who used to live on Ocean Drive. There’s no Ocean Drive in this city, so we asked about it, and they said we’re just supposed to google the answer. We wasted so much time trying to make sense of clues and find things that weren’t there. It was no fun, and my kids were quickly frustrated and exhausted. Even without the obvious mistakes, there’s no way this activity is worth $20+ per person. When we booked it, we mistakenly thought the price was per group. When we learned it was for each person, we decided to go ahead and try it. It wasn’t worth the original $25, and it’s definitely not worth $100. I have asked for a refund, but they haven’t gotten back to me.
