Even though it rained most of the day, was an amazing trip! The driver, Daniel, was funny and very informative. I would definitely recommend

We are travelers just like you. We know how important and stressful it can be booking a tour company. What sets us apart is our experienced kind, caring and funny drivers. We only hire tour guides that have lived on the island for a minimum of ten years. We will try our best to show you all the hot spots on the island, make you laugh, and give you unlimited knowledge of Oahu to make it the best vacation day of your life. You will know so much by the end of the tour you will want to live in Hawaii and work for us. But sorry to say, you will have to wait 10 years ! O ya did I mention we love what we do and we are excellent photographers?

We booked online with Aloha Shaka Tours using a very discounted coupon code. However, we were picked up very near our hotel complex by an Allstar Tour bus instead and Matt was our driver. The tour boasted that we would be seeing 21 points of interest, but most were drive by encounters with just 9 stops, two of which were for meal purchases and three others involving snack purchases such as macadamia nuts, a fruit stand, and the Dole plantation. Matt was pleasant enough during the tour and had a good balance of patter and quiet, but I got the impression he wanted to get through the tour and be done with it. He did give us adequate time at each stop though, unlike other tours we had recently been on. His PA system was inadequate and annoying with lots of static and distortion, but sometimes worked as it should. Perhaps hard wiring would improve it rather than trying to be cordless. Given the price, I would have to say that the tour was worth the cost. But be sure to look for a discount coupon in the booklets available in the stands around Waikīkī.

Johnny was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Gave great recommendations, especially for great restaurants to try! The tour provided an excellent opportunity to view many different portions of the island and was a great opportunity to see other parts of Ohua other than Waikiki. The tour stopped at or drove by many recommended locations. There were many opportunities for excellent pictures and delicious snacks!

I wish I could give our trip 10 stars!!! What a day...Johnny promptly picked us up at 7:30am and we were off for a fun-filled excursion! My husband and I have never been to Oahu and this is the perfect way to get familiar with everything the island has to offer! Great sites, great food and super fun people! Saw surfers on the North Shore, saw turtles at one of the beaches, loved the Dole Plantation, as well as many stops to try the delicious local foods...we couldn't ask for a better experience!!! We were so glad we didn't rent a car and try to do this on our own...by booking Aloha Shaka Tours we could both enjoy the beauty of the island without one of us driving the whole time!
