During the turn of the last century the area was home to foundries, pattern shops and industrial uses that helped drive the economic success of Denver. As industry moved out of the city's core in the late 80s and 90s, the corridor was left with several vacant warehouses and a failing infrastructure. Jeremy led a wonderful, thorough tour of Denver. He picked us up from our hotel and we went out to the Red Rocks, Golden, Lookout Mountain with Buffalo Bill’s grave, and he even made a special spur-of-the-moment stop for me to see Mother Cabrini’s shrine when we passed the sign for it. The downtown tour was great as he showed us all the top spots and murals in the art district. He bought us pizza for lunch and it was delicious. Thank you Jeremy for showing us Denver!
