This 2 hour tour covers some of the highlights (Capitol Building, Austin Mural etc) but also goes over to the East Side, via Rainey Street and points out many interesting bars and music clubs. Most of these places are off the normal beaten path for tourists and are the sort of places the locals go to. Our tour guide, Joey, was excellent and as a part time stand up comedian kept us very entertained the whole time. Of course he also did a great job of giving us the history of some of the places and the city of Austin overall. His list of personal favorites (best BBQ, best live music etc.) was very useful and I actually checked out 3 of the places he recommended, all of which were excellent. Great tour and well worth investment of time an money.

Ike was great - made the tour very interesting. A perfect tour for seeing the sights and learning some history. It was good to break up the drive with a couple of stops too.
