Kurt was an excellent guide for our day tour. He started by checking in the night before to confirm our pick up, which was a nice touch. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the day. I would highly recommend this tour with Kurt as your guide!

We begin the day at Armstrong Woods, where you will walk among the oldest and largest trees on the planet. The park has 1500 year old, 300-foot Redwoods beauties that offer an awe-inspiring stroll through one of the most unique forests in Northern California. We purposefully choose NOT to go to the more known Muir Woods, which is overrun with crowds and prevents our guests from fully enjoying the majesty of the Redwoods. Instead, we go to Armstrong, which has older and taller trees, and far less crowds for a more private experience. We will travel to a small timber town where we will purchase lunch and, weather permitting, go picnic at the beach as we travel down the spectacular California coastline. The day ends in Sausalito — a lovely town on the San Francisco Bay with magical views of the city. Then, you can decide if you want to return with us or take a 30-minute ferry ride back to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.

Took this tour to see the Redwood forests and Sausalito and it was a very good experience. My first thought was this would include Muir Woods. but it does not. They go to Armstrong Woods instead which is a treat. The tour also goes to Bodega Bay and stops at Duncan Mills. CA. The entire trip is beautiful and scenic with a taste of Sonoma. We also saw the houses and church featured in a prominent movie. Overall great staff, very reasonable fee and very comfortable ride for the entire day.

Great experience everything was above expectations. Our driver and guide Kurt was so nice and easy going as well as very knowledgeable. Armstrong Redwoods were beautiful. We made several stops to quaint little shops and restaurants. The beach was beautiful we were given several photo opportunities. We saw sea lions! The motor coach was very clean and comfortable.

I thought the trip and the logistics were great and the price was right but having Brian W as our guide really made this tour. His personality/knowledge/expertise and the willingness to pivot to enhance the experience really turned this into a 5 star event
