Great Activity! Kurt made us all comfortable and shared some great information about all the places we visited. Highly recommend.

We begin the day at Armstrong Woods, where you will walk among the oldest and largest trees on the planet. The park has 1500 year old, 300-foot Redwoods beauties that offer an awe-inspiring stroll through one of the most unique forests in Northern California. We purposefully choose NOT to go to the more known Muir Woods, which is overrun with crowds and prevents our guests from fully enjoying the majesty of the Redwoods. Instead, we go to Armstrong, which has older and taller trees, and far less crowds for a more private experience. We will travel to a small timber town where we will purchase lunch and, weather permitting, go picnic at the beach as we travel down the spectacular California coastline. The day ends in Sausalito — a lovely town on the San Francisco Bay with magical views of the city. Then, you can decide if you want to return with us or take a 30-minute ferry ride back to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.

I thought the trip and the logistics were great and the price was right but having Brian W as our guide really made this tour. His personality/knowledge/expertise and the willingness to pivot to enhance the experience really turned this into a 5 star event

Brian W was a great tour guide. We had an awesome trip with great pictures. I didn’t feel rushed. If you’re worried about the price don’t be. It was well worth the cost. The length of the visit was just right. It was close to an 8 hour round trip. In Sausalito we had the option to take the water taxi back to San Francisco but we didn’t. We got the best pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge on the way back into the city. Brian W also had alternate routes as some of our sites were closed off due to the high tide. This trip is best for all types except those who do not need assistance such as walkers and scooters. Those who use a cane or poles for balancing can enjoy this trip. There were 7 in our group. We all had a blast of a time.

This was a great tour. Our guide, Trevor, was awesome. He made trip fun and informative. We had to change to this trip at last minute due to federal shutdown of Muir Woods. Did not regret the switch. Trip was great!!! Would do it again especially with Trevor as guide.

We had a fantastic day with Derek our tour guide. Picked up at our hotel door, and we visited so many places along the way. The Armstrong Giant Redwood Forrest is much more quiet than Muir Woods so we were pleased of Dereks knowledge of this. We had plenty of time at each stop and the lunch stop was amazing!! I won’t spoil it!! A good quality mini- van, and we could take snacks and drinks of our own no problem. Communication from our guide was excellent before and during the day - it made it really special. As we were a smaller group, we didn’t need to hang about waiting for stragglers at each stop. This was a full day trip: 0800-1600 and really educational and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this company. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
