Ensure a manta ray sighting on this 2.5-hour night tour. Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. Amazing experience! Crew was knowledgeable, fun, and made even the most nervous person in our group feel at ease. A couple things to keep in mind, if you’re prone to seasickness or motion sickness take your meds before going out. We didn’t have a lot of “chop” but it was enough for my husband to feel less than ideal. We did the 5:00 and it was a little cold towards the end so I can’t imagine what the 8:00 would be like but we saw at least 10-13 mantas. Apparently this large of a sighting is really lucky and we are so glad we got to see so many of them. Multiple times they were just inches from our faces. It was so incredible! Definitely something to put on your bucket list!

We had a great time with our Captain, Lena, and Deck Hand, Mattie, who were knowledgeable, entertaining, and energetic making this excursion one to remember. We saw fish and had a close encounter with a manta ray that couldn’t stop showing off.

Lena, Captain and Mattie, Deck Hand were the crew for our adventure tonight. We had a great time they were entertaining, knowledgeable, and energetic making the trip even more fun. I would recommend taking this excursion if you’re looking for something special to do in Kona.
