Our tour team of Rory and Maddie were very knowledgeable and experienced. It took some time to get to an area where the whales were but when we did it was amazing. There were mother whales with their babies. The babies would breach often because they need to breathe every 5 minutes or so. We saw the mother’s breach also. And I caught a humpback breach very high above the surface. We also saw a pod of Manta Rays and saw one of them breach too. Closer back to shore we had several dolphins following the boat. Maddie and Rory took great care to make sure we were all doing well and got a chance to view the whales.
From December through March/April, the magnificent Humpback whales make their yearly migration from Alaska to Hawaii. Beautiful day, the captain and first mate were WONDERFUL! We were able to see a pod of dolphins just outside of the marina, but unfortunately, the whales were being a tad introverted and shy that day. Their rebooking service is wonderful. Will definitely rebook with them again.
