During our time in Savannah, my cousin wanted to go on a scary ghost tour, so I booked the one that starts at 10 PM and ends at the dead of night. We went on a different horse carriage tour out in Charleston a few days prior, but I must say this was way better. A large part of it was because of our tour guide, Lance. We all enjoyed it! I booked this tour 10 hours before we had to show up. I booked directly on their website. We went earlier this year. January is an off-peak season for Savannah, so the crowds are definitely fewer, but at least the weather is bearable. I heard during the summer months, the tours tend to be way more packed. When we arrived, it was actually just the three of us with Lance. It was great! It was a personable experience. He brought up a lot of common interests and background to make the tour more enjoyable and relatable. He also asked us many questions to make the experience not just a tour about telling haunted stories, but almost as though you were on a tour with a friend. The stories were fascinating. The sights and history that we got to see sent chills down my spine, but also gave me such a good retelling of each story that I still remember each story and the background of each haunted house and location that we walked by. I got a very good grasp of Savannah that night. The walking made everything up close and personal. For anyone visiting Savannah, I highly recommend this tour. It is a crash course into the haunted town of Savannah. It gave me a glimpse into the history behind Savannah, as well as an enjoyable experience that I will remember for a long time. It was an evening well spent.
