We luckily had wonderful weather so we enjoyed clear views of the beautiful water and rocky beaches. We booked this trip and driver because we were not comfortable driving ourselves due to the elevation and winding road. Driver Connie was very experienced and made us feel comfortable to enjoy the views rather than being anxious about the drive itself. The McWay Falls part wasn’t much of a waterfall, I wouldn’t recommend the extra hour for that, but the rest of the trip was great.

This is a private charter excursion by a local driver guide using a luxury sedan, full-size SUV, and Sprinter for 4 or 5 hours. It is a unique way of visiting one of the most scenic areas in the U.S. The driver guide will stop at places you wish to enjoy in Monterey, Big Sur, Bixby Bridge, River Inn, Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park of Coastal Redwoods, Nepenthe. *Option to add McWay Falls, and many other places. This is not a group tour. We accommodate up to 12 people.

We had a great guide Tina who was informative and a very friendly person who knew a lot about the area. Definitely would recommend her and use her again if we get in the area.

Great experience, you can customize what you would like to do. Our driver Joe was excellent and made our day very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Outstanding day trip! We had amazing Tina as our guide. She showed us the most beautiful spots to enjoy the scenery from, was unhurried and super friendly. We got a tour of Carmel as a bonus which we loved! Highly recommend if you are short on time and want to see everything comfortably and efficiently.

It was great to have a knowledgeable driver and not have to worry about driving the winding road. Try to work in Pfeiffer Beach to see the rock formations. Also, skip the lunch and stop at general store for snacks instead. Use that time to see the sites.
