I booked online and it showed the transport to the hotels was 25 mins. They called me and "upgraded" me to a private transport from Airport to hotel which is actually 1 HOUR for an additional $60! The entire trip was $114. I was mislead from the booking.

Out plane's arrival was delayed and when we arrived at the collection area, we couldn't find our driver. No worries though, I received a call from Viator local agent advising us where our driver would be. A seamless trip to our hotel followed. Thanks folks and we look forward to our trip to Chichen Itza very soon.

I kept looking for an orange sign like the instructions said but the person we were meeting was holding up a sign with just my name on it, since we were the only two being picked up. So it would've been nice to be notified about that, to just look for my name, instead of an orange sign. We were told the driver would be 5 mins. Then that turned into about 30 because supposedly the driver was stuck at one of the hotels so I'm not sure if a different driver was sent instead. After talking to my cousin that has come to Cancun a lot, she said it's very normal to be delayed about 30 minutes, even when you order private transportation.

Our ride was on time and all worked out well…I didn’t understand why we had a driver plus an assistant?
