This is a guided walking tour of Leesburg’s fascinating historic district. Includes over a dozen attractons that illustrate the history and architecture of this quaint town. The tour is fun and enlightening! You'll see, for example, the site where Robert E. Lee planned the daring invasion of Maryland during the Civil War and the historic tavern where the the Mayor welcomed Gen. Marquis de Lafayette when he toured Leesburg in 1825, to name a few.
