We originally booked our tour several times because the weather would not cooperate. We finally got the trip booked and the weather couldn’t have been better! 84 and sunny. We were greeted with professionalism and the crew was absolutely the best you could hope for. Great music, drinks, and lunch. I can’t say enough about the attention the crew gave us during the trip making sure everything was perfect. I don’t know how they remembered everyone’s name, but they did. The memories of our trip will keep us coming back to Castillo tours! ❤️👍🔥
Our catamaran takes you to the island of Icacos. Disembark and find yourself at a beautiful beach with crystal clear blue water. The catamaran will stay at the beach until after lunch. During that time you can beach comb, swim or just relax on the beach in this beautiful Caribbean setting. After lunch we sail to a reef where you can snorkel around the reef to see tropical fishes and coral. Then we hoist our sail for a relaxing sail back to the dock

Please note that check-in at the dock is at 8:30 am at the latest. Our signature experience aboard the Barefoot IV Catamaran is a must-do while visiting the Enchanted Island of Puerto Rico. Guests will enjoy a 45-minute sail to Icacos Island or one of the breathtaking surrounding islands of the Fajardo Keys. Swim, sunbathe, play with our beach toys, or collect shells on a deserted island. Take advantage of our flotation belts in the crystal-clear Caribbean water while sipping on a refreshing piña colada. Our catamaran arrives and anchors at Icacos Island. You can swim at the beach in clear blue waters using our complimentary floating devices. In the afternoon, after lunch, we sail to the Reef for snorkeling. If you have other dietary restrictions, please contact the local operator immediately after booking. Vegetarian options are included in the buffet.

- The drive to Villa Marina is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours from San Juan. Please check in at the dock by 8:30 am at the latest.

- If we need to cancel the charter due to weather you will not be charged. All determinations about weather cancellations are made by our captain. We watch the weather on an hourly basis, and in the tropics the weather is often locally specific. Please do not make the mistake of deciding not to arrive to your excursion because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will be charged as a no-show if the trip goes out.

While the onboard crew was exceptional, the “program” was severely limited due to bad weather. The experience turned into a bruise cruise and a lot of sitting on the boat while music blared for hours. I understand we weren’t able to snorkel, and yet, some island trivia, game, etc. would have helped people stay engaged and learning about PR.

This experiment was incredible and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The crew was excellent, especially Matthew (shoutout to the LEGEND). Icacos was beautiful and the catamaran was a great time.

What’s not to love. The staff that took care of us was amazing. Especially the gentleman who goes by Legend. The music was awesome, the food was great (sandwiches and fresh fruit never fails to fulfill). There was plenty of room on the boat for a large amount of people. 10/10.

I would definitely recommend if your looking for a nice turned down experience. The crew was 5 star! Those guys worked hard and were extremely accommodating. I will speak for my husband and I (I know others on the boat would agree) that the music was not up to the standard of a boat experience in a place like P.R. the captain needs to understand that its not about his musical taste, but the customers he is serving. We had a boat full of folks looking to turn up. I counted 7 if over 40 passages that were 60+. We sat by 5 of them and they were even complaining wanted more fun upbeat music. Ive been on similar party boats in Jamaica, D.R., Belize so we were expecting hands down turn up. The food was simply sandwiches and chips, but that bread was banging. It was very good. Had the music been better this would have been 10 stars!
