The In The Loop Tour of Chicago
Similar deals
The In The Loop Tour covers a lot of information, spanning from architecture to art to history to the men and women that made this city what it is.
The tour starts on the south end of the Loop. Here are some of the oldest skyscrapers - and some of the newest. We'll talk about how the Chicago fire paved the way for the rise of the skyscraper. From here we'll see Chicago's own "leaning towers" and then check out one of the prettiest hotel lobbies in the city and learn about the "cool kids" of Chicago's history.
Then a walk down State Street - that great street! The rumbling elevated train will roar over our heads as we discuss the how we became the City that Works. Then into Marshall Fields for a beautiful Tiffany ceiling and talk about tour identity as "the second city." From there we'll check out the largest Tiffany Dome in the world against the backdrop of Millennium Park.
Then to the Picasso (yes! It's an actual Picasso) and you can tell me animal/person/thing you think it might be!
