Carla is an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. Because the group was limited to us, Carla tailored the tour to our interests. She gave us history of buildings, people, and neighborhoods. The Sweet Auburn neighborhood was well done.
Murals, MLK's home and FIFI readiness all extras that we enjoyed. Areas were highlighted that we were able to return the following day to view at our convenience.
The tour included Martin Luther King's I have a dream speech playing in the background. It was a great added feature but i feel listening to his speech or part of it, without talking over it would have added to the tour.
I would also suggest that a list or brief biography be given as a handout to have on the tour.
The Black History and Civil Rights Tour was wonderfully presented. I would highly recommend this tour.
