Our small family owned and operated tour is an experience you and your family will always remember and treasure. 

Your 3.5 hour tour will begin meeting downtown Juneau at the base of Mount Roberts. 

The Chum Fun van is hard to miss, we will take a quick ride (approx. 3 miles) to the Macaulay Hatchery. We will spend roughly 20 minutes learning about the life cycle of the Alaskan Salmon (the admission cost is included). There is a Fish Ladder and a Touch Tank for the young ones (and not so young ones, wink, wink). We will load back up in the van head to the Gearshack. We will get fishing licenses processed ($25 cash) and get you in true Alaskan raingear. Don't forget to get your picture taken in front of the "Chum Fun" sign with Charlie Boy (our 12 year old German/Shepard Husky!) Also, make sure you grab a complimentary granola bar and water. From there we will head to the dock… after a short instructional from your guide, you will be on your way to catching salmon like a local.
