The boat ride and tours ran nearly 5 hours. Basically a full afternoon and included a nice bag lunch. The tour guide on the boat was very informative and interesting during the period on the boat The self guided touring of Boldt Castle was exceptional and really required the 2+ hours we had to spend there. The park service staff on Rock Island really humanized the Rock Island Lighthouse history and very interesting and informative small group tour up into the top of the lighthouse.
