Loved going this weekend. Did not have to pay, so we lucked out. It was awesome and a lot to see and learn about Charlie and Nancy.
Only wish they had more pictures for sale.

I was there in the summer of 2024 - and can only recommend it to anyone who likes Russel or Westernart at all. There is not much going on, ie you can admire everything in peace - a really comprehensive overview of Russel's work

My brother suggested we would enjoy the Charlie Russell Museum in Great Falls, MT. He was certainly correct. Russell is known as the painter-historian of the West. His action-filled painters of early Western life focused on life among the settlers and Indians. He particularly enjoyed capturing action scenes, such as the Indian - Bison hunts on horseback. Exciting and realistic. His accuracy led to him being labeled a historian for the place and period. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum and will return again some day.

Great museum. The hotel we were staying at suggested come see it. Glad we did. We learned a lot and it was beautiful. The neighborhood was also quite lovely.

Went to the museum...and thought it was great. There were lots of pieces from CM Russell I thought - and some that shared his style. Wished they had more CM Russell type gifts in the gift store that might be appropriate for XMAS gifts etc. Some XMAS ornaments with CMR pic on it would be nice. Just some momentos from the museum itself.
