Itinerary
During the Covid -19, in order to protect our everyone we will be starting at 9:30 from our trailhead on the Birkenhead River Road also called Birkenhead FSR. This allows us to minimize the number of people you will come into contact with.
Please make sure you have these directions downloaded or printed out, since you will be out of cell contact once you leave Mt Currie.
From Whistler follow Highway 99 North straight thru the stop light in Pemberton to Mt Currie. Do not make the right turn at the little white church in Mt Currie to follow Highway 99. Continue straight on, over the railway tracks headed for D’Arcy.
16 k down the road you will take a left turn on a dirt road onto Old Portage Road and immediately cross the railroad tracks. Continue up the road for about 1km and you will see a big tree in the middle of the road with a sign saying Birkenhead River Road, turn left in front of the tree with the blue arrow. Continue up the Birkenhead River Road (Birkenhead Forest Service Road)under the power lines, just after you go under the power lines you will see a pull out on your left, park there, that is our trailhead.

• Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park, Blackwater Lake Road, Birken, British Columbia Canada
• Copper Cayuse Outfitters, 7830 Pemberton Meadows Rd, Pemberton, British Columbia V0N 2L0 Canada
• Whistler, Whistler, British Columbia

- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking; Please use "Special Requirements" field at the of checkout to advise the information
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately, you will be in the Mountains, jackets can be tied to the back of the saddle
- All riders must wear long pants, and closed toed shoes or boots.
- All children under 18 must wear a helmet, which will be provided.
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms
