Walter was a great guide. He starts with training and makes sure you are comfortable. Then he asks what are your preferences by starting with your number one choice. He really knows the city and can answer all your questions as you move along. I was really impressed with his knowledge. Greenville is a wonderful city with lots of parks and trails. I would highly recommend seeing it with Crossed Roads tours on a Segway!

To make it simple, we offer customizability and honesty, which is something that is in short supply in the area. Most of the other decent tours aren't customizable, we'll change things up for you. We are the only ghost tour in the area that tells you the truth. All of the comments about hauntings are researched from books, news media, or first-hand experience. The "And More" means that you can also add other questions about Greenville, from shopping to history. No one knows more about modern Greenville than we do, and the lead guide was previously the head guide and manager of Greenville Segway Tours. We will customize the information we give you and even the walking path if you have something special that you want to see. It's all about you. Keep in mind that this is a 2-hour walking tour. If you have any trouble walking for 6 miles, this tour is probably not for you. Most customers choose to travel the whole time, but we are happy to take a break if you need it.

Points of Interest

Stop At: The Westin Poinsett, Greenville120 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601Both history lovers and ghost lovers will enjoy this stop. The Westin Poinsett is like a time capsule from the 1920s. Classic carpets, sweeping columns, and beautiful motifs dot the hotel. The building itself has a rich history of natural passings, ghosts that can't let go of the building they love, and ghosts of bootleggers in the basement area. Duration: Not AvailableStop At: Falls Park on the Reedy601 S Main St, , Greenville, South CarolinaFalls Park is one of the top parks in the entire country. Both the nearby Reedy River and the waterfall itself hide creepy secrets. With a rich history, it would be strange if there weren't ghosts in the area. Some of the hotels on the waterfront, and older mill buildings in the area, also contain haunted pasts. There is a truly a wealth of haunted info in this area. Duration: Not AvailableStop At: Springwood Cemetery410 N Main St, Greenville, South CarolinaGhost lovers will greatly enjoy the spooky sights of Springwood. From apparitons of confederate soldiers, to ghostly orbs and sounds, it's all here. It also contains a wealth of Greenville history, with the original area set up in 1812. We love ghosts a much as you do, and have dozens of legends for you throughout the area. Keep in mind that this cemetery is unavailable on Halloween Night, as the city of Greenville closes and has guards stationed. You should book earlier in the day if you want to visit this attraction on that night. Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Rocket Fizz Greenville640 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601The Greenville Summit is probably the most haunted building in Greenville. Starting as the Imperial Hotel in 1912, it eventually became a retirement complex in the 1980s. Large numbers of natural deaths have led to an extremely haunted reputation for the building. According to travel nurses we've spoken with, it is the scariest building they've ever worked in. We want to save the exact nature of the haunts for the tour. We also don't go very far into this building, as it is still active as a senior living complex. Duration: Not AvailableStop At: 201 W Washington St201 West Washington Street, Greenville, SC 29601Rocket Fizz is a great store, and falls under the "And More" of the tour. It has over 200 different candies and soda. More than that though, it has a haunted history and is flanked by other buildings with ghostly happenings. In the early 1900s, the road behind it actually contained the main tombstone manufacturer in the area. This sweet store is flanked by the paranormal on all sides. Duration: 10 minutes

Phenomenal walking jaunt led by Walter a local small business owner of this tour. Walter is very eager to craft an experience tailored to you. He is knowledgeable, patient and kind. I learned a lot on this journey of Greenville which has quite a diverse history, varied arts program, good food and interesting ghosts. Answered all my questions with ease. Great day indeed!
