Tom is so down to earth, knowledgeable, friendly, talented and captivating. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour and learned in the process. Kids had a great time too (ages 19, 16 & 13). We will definitely be back for the mob movie tour.

Tom was an excellent tour guide - he was super knowledgeable about the history of Little Italy and Chinatown and the tour was informative, while also keeping it fun - and the food was amazing! He introduced us to multiple spots that I might not have ever found otherwise. I would definitely go on another tour with him again!

Tom was very friendly and accommodating. He had lots of insider knowledge and connections with other locals. My family had a great time learning about the area and conversing with some true lifelong locals. The food was truly amazing. I really think a lot of thought went into this tour and the food stops in particular. I have been on lots of food tours and I highly recommend this tour.

We took the Mom and Pop Food Tour with Tom the day before Thanksgiving. Everything was extremely well organized, and the food offerings were all top-notch!! We first tasted some delicious sponge cakes and Thai tea, and then walked to a restaurant where they make the most delicious dumplings I’ve ever eaten! We then stopped at a specialty Italian food shop (yummy cheese + salami), where the line was out the door. Luckily, Tom had phoned in our order beforehand, and we were able to duck inside and quickly pick it up without having to wait. We then sampled some outstanding pizza and, although our bellies were completely full, stopped for a delicious cannoli and pine nut cookie to top it all off. I would highly recommend this food tour, as our guide is not only knowledgeable, but is also kind to his guests, to the store owners and other people he sees and knows along the route. At each stop Tom shared the story of the owner, along with some photos of his ancestors in the area and what their lives were like. Thank you, Tom, for a great tour!
