Loved the tour. Nick was great! Very knowledgeable about the art and the changing neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.

On this top-rated two-hour walking tour of the city’s graffiti and street art, discover the city’s cultural underground hiding in plain sight. We live right here and personally know the artists + art. So you'll learn the real stories about the art, artists and neighborhoods, including how Denver has changed and how that’s affected the art being made and the people who live here. This tour opens up a new and unsung side of Denver. We give people a class on street art, and an introduction to some of Denver's history, and some of the tensions and discussions within the communities and cultures here. Whether visiting Denver for the first time or a Mile High native, you'll see the street art and this neighborhood in a new light. Plus, we end at the Denver Central Market, a gourmet food hall where you can eat or drink at one of the 10 eateries -- or easily explore the other incredible bars, restaurants, shops. (And! We offer custom times and private tours. Inquire by email or phone.)

Points of Interest

Stop At: RiNo Art District1320 27th St., Suite 109, Denver, ColoradoTour-goers will be guided on foot through the RiNo Art District to see some of the best murals and street art in the country. We'll stop at anywhere from 20-30 pieces, but you'll see nearly 100. (And we love questions about all of it.) We'll also stop to discuss the neighborhood's rapid change has brought new hip businesses but also contributed to the displacement of long-time residents ... and has had an effect on the art. We'll end at Denver Central Market (about a 1/2 mile from the start) where you can grab food or drink from any of the gourmet food hall's 10 restaurants.Duration: 2 hours

  • The majority of the walking tour is paved. There are one or two sections that may go over hard-packed dirt. Great tour of the murals in the Rhino Arts District. We learned a lot about the history of the area. Nick was our knowledgeable guide--personable guy. Highly recommend this tour for a fun morning walk around Larimar Street. Tour ends at Central Market--a great place to eat lunch. Stop at Raquelitas for fresh tortillas and chips after your tour!

We had a great time with Randy and enjoyed learning about the various artists and artwork that was all over the RiNo district. I highly recommend this tour. Highlight - actually seeing an artist in action and getting to meet her. A fun way to experience the city.

If you love art and even better street art this is a great experience. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about each piece and artist and tied it beautifully to the cities urban development over the years. It’s also a great way to hang out and meet people who are equally interested in art.

I came into this tour knowing practically nothing about graffiti and street art. Will, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the topic and he explained what we were seeing and helped us to learn about the history behind numerous pieces that we encountered. You will almost certainly enjoy this tour and, if you have Will as your guide, you will enjoy his easygoing personality, punctuality, and informative commentary.
