The biggest challenge instructors are facing with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is not coaxing participants into the water, but coaxing them out when the program has been completed. This is a 3 hour program with an academic session, some time in our confined water learning some important skills then a guided open water boat on our amazing local reefs.

DIVE BOUTIQUE COZUMEL offers this experience daily in the crystal clear shallow waters right off our dock with one of our experienced and patient PADI Instructors. While not an actual scuba certification, during your Discover Scuba Diving experience you'll learn how to use scuba equipment while enjoying a fun and easy introduction to what it like to explore the underwater world.
Get ready to:
Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.
Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive.
Have fun swimming around and exploring as you complete an open water dive.
All the equipment you need is included.
Additional Information
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Near public transportation
- Most travelers can participate
- All participants are required to complete a reqired Medical Statement
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
