You will see some of the most beautiful places in the world all in one day! We will meet at 8am and head to the gorgeous red rocks of Sedona. Not only is Sedona absolutely stunning, it is thought to have healing powers from the magnetic vortices located there. We will visit the site of an actual vortex, Chapel of the Holy Cross overlooking Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock. Then we' will travel on one of the most scenic highways in America, 89A. We will stop a a Native American Crafts Market run by local Native Americans, and then we will head out to view one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon! We will arrive at the Grand Canyon in the afternoon to take in this magnificent and breathtaking sight! We will *not* see the sunset at the Grand Canyon, but on our drive back to Phoenix you will enjoy the best sunset in the world, an Arizona sunset!

We will visit Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a church built right into the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. On the sides and in the front, Sedona sprawls out majestically, a sweeping landscape of red rocks, trees, and nestled houses. Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte are visible to the south, and Cathedral Rock to the west. We will grab a bite to eat, and then we will head to the Grand Canyon! Driving time from Phoenix to Sedona is 2 hours.

Oak Creek Canyon is famous the world around for its spectacular scenery. We will stop at Oak Creek Canyon Vista. Here you can get a bird's eye view of what awaits you down the road and, at the same time, shop for Native American jewelry and other craft items from the local Native American artists who set up displays along the pathways.

Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset. Driving time from Sedona to the Grand Canyon is 2.5 hours. Driving time from the Grand Canyon back to Phoenix is 3.5 hours. We will have two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way to the Grand Canyon and two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way back to Phoenix for a total time of 60 minutes for the 4 breaks.
