I booked a private waterfall adventure in Maui with my two kids (ages 10 and 15), and it was absolutely perfect for our family. I’ve always wanted to experience the lush rainforest and waterfalls along the Road to Hana, but I’m very prone to motion sickness and can’t handle the full, winding drive. This tour was the ideal solution — just a short drive into the Road to Hana area without committing to the entire trip.
The hike itself was beautiful and manageable for our family. Walking through the bamboo forest felt magical, and the rainforest scenery was exactly what I had hoped to experience. The waterfall at the end was stunning! My son especially loved jumping into the water multiple times — it was definitely a highlight and such a special memory for him.
Our guide, Sirena, was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. She shared interesting information about the area and took great care of us throughout the tour.
I highly recommend this experience for families, especially if you want the beauty of the Road to Hana — waterfalls, bamboo forest, rainforest scenery — without the long drive. It was truly a wonderful day in Maui!!!!

After a little hiccup about the time, I ended up with a private tour which I really am grateful as I wanted an early start. Mike was super helpful and funny throughout the hike. I really had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.
