I’ve been on several of these tours and enjoyed most of them. But the Secret Food Tour of Chinatown and North Beach in San Francisco with Tour Guide, Zachary, is by far the best tour in the area!
What made this tour 5-stars was, specifically, our Tour Guide. Zachary has a vast wealth of knowledge of the city. He is very informative of its history and his tidbits were funny which may them memorable.
The food stops along the tour were yummy including the fresh pineapple sweet roll, savory dim sum, refreshing tropical boba, samples from and a fortune cookie company, all within the Chinatown.
A quick walk to North Beach, Zachary pointed out various landmarks along the way, and suggested authentic Italian restaurants with reasonable prices within the Italian District. Our food stop was at Golden Boy Pizza. Simply delicious! Zachary saved a special sweet at the end of the tour, a cannoli made in heaven!
Overall, the tour was exceptional and at a leisurely pace. I highly recommend this tour while visiting San Francisco. Ask for Zachary, he’ll make your visit memorable!
